You Can’t Afford to Miss a Customer Call

A Twickenham heating company has managed to take on the big boys thanks to a simple piece of technology, which ensures they never have to miss a customer, call despite the fact that they are normally at client’s houses and rarely in the office.

Glow Maintenance realised it was difficult for customers to reach them if all of the staff were out of the office, but thanks to help from a new independent telecommunications firm they were able to install a top of the range internet phone system, which not only expanded the services offered but reduced their bills by more than 50%.

Tony O’Connell from local business telecommunications company, Pink Connect Twickenham says; “Glow was really busy, but they needed help and in these days you can’t afford to miss a single customer call, you’ve got to be in touch with a fast response time because that customer could go elsewhere.”

Tony installed a ‘Voice Over Internet Protocol’ (VOIP) system, which does everything an old expensive phone service used to provide, but at a much lower cost. “It does everything, call forwarding, call divert, it’ll take voicemail messages and can text or email you with the message and even conference calling. It has all the features and functions of a traditional telephone system at a fraction of the cost and unlike other phone suppliers you’re not tied into a long term contract.”

Nigel Llewellyn-Davies from Glow Maintenance says the difference this new system has made to their call handling is amazing; “It’s like having a team of people on the end of the phone, it’s like having someone in the office all the time, even though we spend most of the day fixing boilers and the office is empty. We don’t miss a call and even if we do miss a call, the customer always gets a fast response as we are alerted evry time a message is left. We’re in touch with our customers now and the system is incredibly simple to use.”

Glow Maintenance say they have now been able to expand their business despite tough times and say more people should move away from the traditional phone suppliers and get the new technology that is around at a good price, Nigel believes it’s the only way to survive; Pink Connect cut our phone bills in half and that alone saved almost two thousand pounds a year and so far we haven’t even had to call them for assistance, it’s been brilliant.”
